VOYAGER
PLASMA WAVE INVESTIGATION

The two Voyager spacecraft carry identical plasma wave receivers built and operated by The University of Iowa. The instruments made the first surveys of plasma wave and low-frequency radio wave phenomena at the outer planets and continue to explore the outer heliosphere. Data from these instruments are generally available through the Outer Planets Subnode of the Planetary Plasma Interactions Node of NASA's Planetary Data System or by contacting Bill Kurth (e-mail william-kurth@uiowa.edu).
